The company chose the trade show to introduce Vipal Motorcycle Tires to the Americas market
ipal Rubber, a leading company in Latin America and one of the world’s top manufacturers of tire retreads, will attend the Expo Moto for the first time, which takes place between November 21 and 24, in Mexico City. The company chose one of the largest trade shows in the segment in Mexico to introduce Vipal Motorcycle Tires to North America, an operation that, since 2012, has been dedicated to the manufacture of new Vipal-branded motorcycle tires.
"Vipal Motorcycle Tires has been experiencing historical growth in recent years. Therefore, one of our big moves for 2020 is the beginning of exports, especially to Latin American countries, which have many opportunities in the segment," explains Felipe Henzel, Commercial Manager of Vipal Motorcycle Tires. Henzel points out that the prospect is very good, since Mexico has been registering great growth in the motorcycle market in the last 10 years. “The number of units in circulation went from 722 thousand in 2006 to 3.5 million in 2017, and growth rates remain between 10 and 20%. And most are low-powered work bikes that value a stronger tire to withstand punctures or road problems,” he adds.
In its own stand, Vipal shall present the entire portfolio of Vipal Motorcycle Tires, which has tire models available in street, trail and cross, all of which stand out for their superior quality. The highlight will be the urban line, which is proven 15% tougher than the competition. This is because the plies that make up the textile structure of the tires have thicker and larger nylon strands than other models in the market. In practice, you have a tire that is more resistant to punctures and other damages to which it is subjected in the daily life of cities.
Expo Moto is coming to its 20th edition and will bring together the main brands of the motorcycle segment, supplies, accessories, services, and safety equipment. Since its inception, the trade show has promoted the use of motorcycles as a solution for major cities, as a key element in mobility and environmental conservation issues, as well as in all the roles that motorcycles play in sport, entertainment, and lifestyle.
